Hike to Quinten
If you would like to hike to Quinten , you can do so from Weesen or Walenstadt. If you would like to complete part of the route by boat, you can also hike from Betlis harbor. Figs, kiwis and berries grow in Quinten and can be purchased locally alongside lovingly prepared local products. For example in the Kellerlädeli. Wine is also grown in Quinten and the grapes are harvested by boat. The Alte Post wine cellar is located directly on the picturesque harbor of the winegrowing village and is therefore easily accessible by boat.

Quinten can be reached by boat from Murg all year round. It is much quieter in winter, but still worth a visit. In spring, the Mediterranean microclimate attracts visitors with warm temperatures. In summer, Quinten is a popular destination for anyone who wants to spend a day by the lake. In autumn, the color contrast between the gold of the vines and the blue of Lake Walen is an attraction.
A trip to Quinten is ideal for a family outing. Arriving by boat is a highlight. There is a playground in the immediate vicinity of the harbor, which is part of the Walensee play experience. The themed trail in Quinten is also suitable for baby carriages and natural bathing spots with barbecue areas round off the family offer.
Bicycles can be transported on the Weesen-Walenstadt-Weesen route (registration required). Please contact Walensee ship directly. Bicycles are not transported on the cross-course line Quinten.
There are reduced rates for groups on the Walensee boat. The reduction is 10% of the ticket price for groups of 10 or more adults. Groups of 10 or more people must be booked in advance. Menus, aperitif buffets, canapés, croissants and more can also be arranged for groups by prior arrangement.
