The Pizalun viewing platform on the St. Margrethenberg offers an impressive panoramic view of the mountains of St. Gallen and Graubünden. It can be reached in less than an hour from the valley station of the Tristeli ski lift.
The Pizalun viewing platform on the St. Margrethenberg plateau offers a panoramic view of the surrounding St. Gallen and Graubünden mountains. Thanks to the panorama boards, you can easily name the many mountains all around. The Bündner Herrschaft and Sarganserland lie at your feet. And the view along the Rhine extends as far as Lake Constance on a clear day.
The viewing platform can be reached in just under an hour from the valley station of the Tristeli ski lift. A gently ascending hiking trail leads through forests and across flower-filled meadows towards the summit of Pizalun. A steep but well-built staircase leads right to the top to the Pizalun viewing platform. From Pizalun down towards Fürggli, a leisurely hiking trail leads past the Jägeri mountain inn. Back on the plateau, you return to the starting point on the rarely used road.
