The Bad Ragaz Winter Sports Museum has been recognized by the FIS (Fédération Internationale de Ski) as an official FIS Ski Museum. A total of 34 museums in 12 countries have received this award and can call themselves such. The museum was set up by Jürg Hess. Over many years of painstaking work, he has amassed a large collection, a selection of which he presents here. His entire collection consists of skis (1,000 pairs) and numerous other props such as boots, poles, clothes and documents. Skiing is one of the most beautiful leisure activities you can enjoy in winter. Bad Ragaz is considered a world health resort where winter sports also play a major role. The Winter Sports Museum has been dedicated to this sport since 2018 and is located in the attic of an old Ragaz house at Kronenplatz 6.
