Discover marmots in the wild Fascinating insights into the life of marmots Hike through the impressive mountain landscape on the Flumserberg Experience nature with a view of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Tectonic Arena Sardona After the gondola ride with the BergJet up to the Maschgenkamm, the hike begins. The guide knows the best places to spot the marmots, also known as marmots or marmots, and tells you exciting facts about their lives. Their distinctive warning whistle can often be heard from afar. The guide explains how these fascinating animals live together as a family in their underground burrows and why they spend half the year in hibernation. Despite their caution, marmots are frequently encountered on the Flumserberg. The hike is led by a certified GeoGuide Sardona, who not only knows the best places to observe the animals, but also explains what makes this landscape so special and why it has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The hike ends at Chrüz. From here, you can either take the chairlift back to the Bergjet valley station, use the Floomzer toboggan run for a speedy descent or make your way back on foot.
