Podcast episode #18 - Carina Cappellari

Downhill biker & national coach

70 km/h, jumps of 20 meters. And all this on a mountain bike. Carina Cappellari, who grew up on Lake Walen, likes to be fast and action-packed. However, she herself says that downhill mountain biking is no more dangerous than alpine skiing. She is currently a national coach and is preparing young athletes for the 2025 World Championships at home.
"Hallo Heidiland" presenter Manuel Rothmund reveals what fascinates her about downhill biking and what influence mental training can have on success.
