📍 Berschis

The little village of Berschis, near Lake Walen , is easy to overlook. And yet it is well worth a detour. In spring, it's worth making a detour to the Berschner Falls, which can be reached from the village in 20-30 minutes. When the snow melts, the water thunders down. The Berschnerfall is a little insider tip and is perfect for stretching your legs.

Culinary tip: The Landgasthof Linde is the perfect place for a bite to eat on the way. Creative dishes and a seasonal menu are the Linde's flagship.

📍 Bündner Herrschaft

The Bündner Herrschaft is also known as the small region of great wines. This is because the Pinot Noir world championship title has already gone to the Bündner Herrschaft region six times. The picturesque wine villages of Maienfeld, Jenins, Malans and Fläsch are ideal for a stopover with a walk through the vines.

Salenegg Castle, the oldest winery in Europe, is definitely worth a visit. As are the other wineries in the Bündner Herrschaft.

📍 Lake Walen

A deep blue lake surrounded by imposing rock faces that rise steeply into the sky. The region around Lake Walen with its leisure activities is much more than just a worthwhile stopover on the way south. With the Walensee ship, the car-free wine village of Quinten, a wide range of water sports and hikes along the sun-drenched shore, the Walensee region offers a diverse range of activities.

Sargans at the foot of the Gonzen is visible from afar thanks to its characteristic castle. It is also home to a restaurant and a museum. A visit is therefore doubly worthwhile. If you like, you can take a stroll through the town to stretch your legs before continuing your journey.
